Home Ed Science Class, 11.05-12.05, Sep-Oct 2026
Home Ed Club for home educated children ages 5 - 10 (approx). Sessions are parent accompanied. If you also have a baby/toddler coming, please let me know. A small amount of toys will be provided. Learning Science through practical, hands on activities. Sessions are topic based. All sessions are led by myself, a qualified teacher with over 28 years experience. I currently teach part time in a SEN school. Parents are welcome to help themselves to tea/coffee and biscuits for free. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Once paid, refunds or transfers cannot be given for illness, holidays, or any other reason. Please let me know if you cannot make it to a lesson so that I know who to expect. As a parent/carer, you are wholly responsible or your child's safety and behaviour whilst in the session. Please be aware of the health and safety of others, and eat snacks at the side of the class rather than at activity areas. Please do not share your own snacks with others in the class.

Zoology Class is the study of animals, how they live, eat, behave and grow! We will be learning mainly through hands on, practical based activities. This class is for home educated children ages 5-10 (approx). All sessions are parent accompanied. I'm Catherine, mum of two, and part time teacher. I have a wealth of teaching experience having taught in both mainstream and SEN education. I began my teaching career in 1998. I have taught a range of different subjects, and I have experience teaching in all key stages. My qualifications are as follows: BA Hons: Fine Art PGCE: Art and Design MA: Education I still teach part time in a local SEN school, and on my days off I run Meopham Mini Artists.
