Zest After School Club - Christ the King (Alfreton)

Welcome to Alfreton Zest! We believe that an after school club should be a place where children are set up with everything they need to be able to have fun or relax after a busy day. Every child is offered a health snack, and those staying until 5:15pm are served a cold light meal with a changing balanced menu that includes a balanced meal full of vitamins and nutrients and occasional treats. Our staff are trained to support children with a wide range of interests and skills and offer a nurturing environment where children feel safe and accepted. Places for 4 year olds are limited to 2 hours per day due to Ofsted rules and for reception age only. Bookings for 4 year olds over this time limit will be refunded and asked to rebook. If your child has attentional needs, please speak with the manager Rachel on [email protected] or 07562 388271 prior to them attending, to ensure that we can safely care for your child/ the child in your care.

At Zest, all children are given a healthy start to their day with a well-balanced breakfast including options such as yogurt, fruit, cereals, toast and occasional treats such as toasted waffles and/or pancakes. We believe that a breakfast club should be a place where children are set up with the nutrients they need to be able to have the best possible start to their school day. Our staff are trained to support children with a wide range of interests and skills and offer a nurturing environment where children feel safe and accepted. In schools with after-school provision, registered children will receive a healthy, light meal after 4:15pm (food is not included with our early collection option). A variety of child care vouchers are accepted. Families on Working Family Tax Credits can claim up to 70% of childcare costs back.
