Love Music Trust
In 2019 the Love Music Trust established an exciting partnership with the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) and Sandbach School to run the innovative A-level Cheshire Specialist Music Course. The course is designed for students of Grade 7/8 standard who are aiming towards a future in which music plays a significant part. Based at Sandbach School, the course is aimed at young musicians and vocalists from all across Cheshire, its focus is to facilitate the progression from A-level to university or conservatoire. Who Can Apply? • Age: 11–19 years old • Location: You live or study in Cheshire East, Cheshire West, or Wirral. • Passion for Music: Whether you play an instrument, sing, produce beats, love live gigs, or want to explore backstage roles, you are welcome. • No Barriers: No formal music qualifications are needed, and all genres of music are celebrated. Why Join Us? • Make an Impact: Have a real say on how music is taught and delivered in your area. • Gain Experience: Develop leadership and teamwork skills and see what a future in the music industry looks like. • Access Exciting Events: Get involved with initiatives like Battle of the Bands, Singfest, or the Young Musician of the Year competitions. • Meet Like-Minded Peers: Connect with other young music enthusiasts from across the region.
