The ‘Horse School ’ introductory programme is a 6-week course aimed at children who are at risk of being excluded from mainstream education for a variety of reasons, including but not exclusive to: challenging behaviours, emotional trauma, Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs), and other physical and mental disabilities. Horses are sentient beings, and they have the capacity to read human body language and mirror our emotions in a non-judgemental way. We use the innate abilities of our horses to work with children and young people to help them to develop self-awareness, and enhance their life skills so that they feel re-energised and better able to integrate into society.
