Learn To Swim Lifeguards will request a swim test for children aged 8+ entering deep water if they do not appear to be confident swimmers. Failure to complete the test will result in the child being asked to remain in a designated safe area or to leave the pool. The test will consist of Swimming 25m continuously (any recognised stroke) with a positive body position.
