About Phillomena Dance School
Our Phillomena Poppets Programme specialises in various dance, music and movement classes (including the award winning Disco Duck programme) for the very youngest of students, which link to the Early Years Foundation Stages.
All of our graded classes follow the IDTA (International Dance Teachers’ Association) exam syllabus and we take children from 6 years old. Most of our students graduate from our Poppets programme into our kids classes. However,

we are happy to offer our dance classes to any child with or without prior dance experience. Students are encouraged to work through and complete the grades in succession as this ensures good technique. We like to combine both tap and theatre craft in our sessions, however, if it’s just one style you are interested in we are able to cater for your requirement. All graded classes are available for students 6 years and over.
