We are unique and at the forefront of education welfare support, constantly reviewing and evolving our services and products. Delivered by experts with a proven track record, the service offers targeted proactive early intervention, support to pupils and their families to address school attendance and welfare concerns, as well as a robust challenge to parents and carers where required. The team has extensive knowledge of the local area and are well connected with local authority school improvement teams and other agencies which allows us to be an efficient and responsive service. We have a practical, hands-on approach to effectively support schools to raise their attendance, reduce persistent absenteeism and address education welfare issues. Our team have extensive knowledge of all matters relating to the law, legislation and government guidance regarding school attendance. We comply with professional standards and have the appropriate data protection/information sharing protocols in place. All data is securely stored in line with GDPR requirements. We also provide sickness cover so that no school under contract with Education Welfare Ltd is left without support. Absence from school undoubtedly has a detrimental effect on a pupil�s progress and attainment and, in our experience, it is often at the school level � rather than the Local Authority level � that the biggest influence can be brought to bear on levels of attendance. Transition Clear expectations of parents and pupils upon entering mainstream school is paramount to underpinning and establishing good attendance behaviours at school, allowing pupils to engage in their education and reach and fulfil their potential while maximising their future employment prospects. We can provide transitional support to parents and their children at key times, such as when moving from nursery to primary or from primary to secondary education. We can also provide focused work with Year 10 and 11 pupils, as well as for those who are at risk of becoming NEET (not in education, employment or training).
