Welwyn | Reception–Year 1 Ballet (Primary Level) Our Reception–Year 1 Ballet class follows the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Primary syllabus , introducing young dancers to the foundations of classical ballet in a fun, imaginative and nurturing environment. Through creative exercises and music, children will develop coordination, balance, posture, musicality and confidence while building a love of dance. There is also the opportunity to work towards our Class Assessments to help prepare for RAD examinations , providing an enjoyable and rewarding milestone as they begin their ballet journey. _________________________________________________________ 🍂 AUTUMN TERM: ▪️ 7th September - 25th October ▫️ OCTOBER HALF TERM – 26th October - 1st November ▪️ 2nd November – 13th December ▫️ CHRISTMAS BREAK – 14th December - 3rd January A student's space is reserved from term to term by rolling contract.

Welwyn | Reception–Year 1 Street Our Reception–Year 1 Street class is a fun, energetic introduction to street dance for young performers. Children will explore the foundations of Hip Hop, Commercial, Locking, Popping, House and Breakdance through age-appropriate routines, games and music. As they dance, they'll develop coordination, rhythm, confidence and creativity in a supportive and encouraging environment.
