Kumon Maths and English Study Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study. Unlike the process of a traditional tuition provider, Kumon encourages students to take their learning into their own hands. The role of the Kumon Instructor is to provide guidance, support and encouragement, allowing the student to develop their own learning strategies. The team of assistants are carefully selected and trained to offer excellent support for students and families. Many of the assistants are either Kumon students who have completed higher levels of the programme, or are high-achieving university students who are able to excellently support the students. Many of the students at the centre have committed to Kumon study for the long term because of the positive results it has brought them. The Kumon programmes are for all ages and abilities.
