Our senior programme for older dancers looking to develop strong technique, versatility and performance skills. Sessions include warm-up, stretching, and technique, ballet, and dance , with training across a variety of styles in a supportive and challenging environment. (S1 + ) Includes Ballet training focused on developing strong foundations, posture, alignment, control, flexibility and technique. This class complements dancers' wider training and supports progression across all dance styles.

Birth year - 2010-2015 Our Competition Team programme is for dancers who are ready to take their training to the next level. Dancers work on technique, performance skills and teamwork while learning a group routine for competitions, shows and community events. Being part of a team helps dancers progress quickly, build confidence, develop resilience and form lasting friendships through shared experiences and achievements. Competitions will take place from January–June 2027 , with the schedule shared in August 2026 . A £100 deposit is due on 1st October 2026 to secure your dancers place. This will be deducted from competition entry fees and costume costs. A training-only option is also available for dancers who do not wish to compete. These dancers will still train with the team and perform in shows and community events. Commitment and regular attendance are essential for all team members.
Acro dance is a new style thriving in the dance world. Using strength and flexibility to learn new tricks that will be used creatively in choreography. The syllabus works on progressions, this is to make sure dancers are performing tricks correctly and to the best of their ability. Acro provides the opportunity to learn new skills as well as demonstrate and perfect existing skills that dancers can often already perform. Please note all pupils must pay a £25 annual membership fee.

Tumble and gymnastics With our experienced EKGC coaches 🤸 Tumble & Gymnastics Our Tumble & Gymnastics classes are high-energy, skill-building sessions designed to develop strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence. Dancers and athletes will work on fundamental gymnastics techniques including rolls, cartwheels, handstands, bridges, walkovers, and progressions toward aerial skills. Classes focus on proper technique, safe skill development, and building core strength to support both gymnastics and dance training. We group students by age and ability to ensure safe progression and individual attention. What is Senior MT? Our Senior Musical Theatre class is 3 hours per week. Structured in a rotation of three subjects, singing, dance and drama. Senior students receive 1 hour per subject. All students must attend all three subject.

This class is open to complete beginners or dancers progressing from our younger classes. Dancers continue to build on their ballet and jazz foundations while developing technique, coordination, flexibility and musicality. Classes include age-appropriate exercises and choreography, helping dancers strengthen their skills and grow in confidence as they progress. We aim to help dancers become confident performers while building friendships and enjoying being part of a supportive dance community. Students are encouraged to persevere when learning new skills, celebrate their achievements and support one another in a positive and welcoming environment. Throughout the year, dancers will learn routines and develop their performance skills as they prepare for our annual show in June 2027. This class is designed to inspire and challenge dancers while fostering confidence, creativity and a lifelong love of dance.
