During our barn conversion we thought it would be great to have a studio which could be rented out to local businesses to showcase their workshops/classes (e.g. Yoga, Pilates, Baby Groups). It is located just above the Farm Shop Cafe which is ideal for a drink, slice of cake or just a catch-up with friends after your session.

I am guessing that as you have found yourself on my humble little slice of the internet, you are looking for a photographer. Well hey there, my name is Tony and I am an Essex based photographer /studio owner, specialising in all things family related. I have always been passionate about capturing memories, however I started my journey of self teaching and learning how to professionally capture moments after the birth of my daughter in 2015. Fast forward to today and I am fortunate to have a beautiful wife, 3 beautiful children, 2 cats and a horse - Yes life is pretty busy! In February 2023 I had my own small custom studio built in Rochford, Essex, which allows me to carry on capturing precious milestones such as 1st birthday cake smashes and family portraits. In the words of Lucas Gentry, "Photography has nothing to do with cameras" and for me photography is much more than just taking a photo or pressing a button. It is the ability to freeze time and them bring back the memory until the end of time. Whether I am capturing family portraits, cake smashes, Football tournaments, Christmas mini shoots or pretty much anything else you may ask for, I strive to get the result you want. Play area - the park has a well-equipped play area suitable for all ages and has information about the history of the site, the play equipment reflects the historical industry in the area to help children understand heritage in a fun way. Bandstand - a dodecahedron bandstand with a timber balustrade and copper roof, built in 1906 is a central feature of the gardens, and is Grade II listed. Boating – this has been an important feature of the gardens since 1905. Boating on the river is available from mid-May until mid-September from 12noon Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays only, for a small fee. Find out prices and opening times. Toilets - are available on site daily throughout the summer months from the end of March through to the end of October. For the remainder of the year the toilets will be open when the park keeper is in attendance. Poetry trail - there is a poetry trail around Belper, which uses a piece of artwork to depict the chosen poem, there are 22 altogether, 3 of which are situated in the river gardens.
