A intergenerational joyful music group for 0–4-year-olds, their grown-ups, and older people, held in care homes and assisted living schemes. With colorful scarves, shakers, bubbles, and action songs, our sessions are designed by specialists to engage and delight everyone, from babies to older adults. These informal, relaxed sessions stimulate the senses and imagination, creating a fun, interactive experience for all—topped off with refreshments at the end! Sessions are free, with the option to donate. As a charity, your donations are vital for keeping our sessions running. Please choose a ticket with a donation option if you are able. If the session is full, please join the waiting list, and we’ll notify you if a spot opens up. To protect the older participants please don't attend if you are feeling unwell. Let us know if you can't make it so we can offer your place to someone else.

Peripatetic lessons We currently offer lessons on all of the instruments below. Music teachers are brought in to teach the instruments during the school day and these have to be paid for separately. Councillors meet regularly to share ideas, discuss improvements, and help plan events that make school life even better. They work closely with staff to gather feedback, suggest new initiatives, and support projects that benefit both learning and wellbeing. Through their role, pupils develop confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills, while ensuring everyone at Sketchley Hill feels listened to and included.
