Our Junior Modern class for dancers aged 9–12 introduces children to a dynamic and expressive style of dance that blends the grace of ballet with energetic jumps, turns, travelling steps and storytelling through movement. Following the internationally recognised ISTD Modern syllabus, dancers develop strength, flexibility, coordination and musicality while learning to perform with confidence and expression. Classes focus on building excellent dance technique, rhythm and performance skills in a fun, supportive environment. Modern dance is the perfect complement to ballet training, helping dancers become stronger, more versatile performers while encouraging creativity and individuality. With small class sizes and personalised teaching, every dancer is supported to progress at their own pace and reach their full potential.

Contemporary dance classes for young people aged 5 to 18 in Stratford, East London. Floor work, release technique, weight and momentum, and choreography that's about something. Contemporary is the style where dancers stop performing steps and start saying things — and for teenagers in particular, that turns out to matter enormously. It builds strength and control that show up in every other style, and it's the discipline most valued if a dancer later auditions for college or conservatoire. Some previous dance experience is helpful but not essential.

Our babyballet class timetable is listed below, where you can book a three-week introductory trial for just £20.
The trial is the perfect introduction to babyballet, giving you and your child the chance to try out our ballet classes before signing up to a full term. Where spaces are available, the babyballet trial can start at any time during a term. Upon completion of the trial, you will be invoiced for the remaining sessions.

Welwyn | Year 9+ Ballet (Grade 5) Our Year 9+ Ballet class follows the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Grade 5 syllabus , providing advanced training for dancers looking to refine their classical technique and artistry. Students will develop strength, flexibility, musicality, precision and performance quality while building confidence through challenging technical work.
