Ravensdale Junior School

I am proud to lead a dedicated and enthusiastic team of staff and governors, alongside our wonderful pupils and their families. As a three-form entry junior school, we are committed to providing an excellent education that enables every child to thrive academically, socially, and personally.

The school was opened in 60 years ago, with a new extension added when the housing population in Mickleover increased. We have 12 mixed ability classes across Years 3 to 6 totalling around 360 pupils. Our children develop strong relationships with the teachers and peers through their learning and wider enrichment activities.
