Regular concerts provide children with the opportunity to display their talents. Select an option below Nursery Pre-Prep Prep Our pupils are taught by a music specialist from their very earliest days at school. Singing is an integral part of the Pre-Prep with the children from Nursery through to Year 2 coming together for a weekly singing assembly. We take part in the National ‘Sing Up’ Day to share the importance of singing on well-being and community. Our Nursery children experiment with instruments, rhythms and dynamics as well as learning fun songs in their weekly lesson. As the children progress in to Reception they continue to develop their skills in the elements of music through a weekly music and movement lesson. In Year 1 the children deepen their understanding of rhythm and pitch with the introduction of simple notation and rhythm games.
