Using British Sign Language with your child can help them to communicate their needs to you long before they have developed the ability to express themselves verbally. Signing with your baby will develop their natural desire to communicate. From as early as 6 to 9 months old, babies can begin to tell you what they want and how they feel. Signing has also been shown to improve spoken language, increase self confidence and aid bonding. It’s also fun and rewarding.
