Come and find out about them with a hands on approach to learning about this fascinating and diverse subject. In this course we will look at the water that the oceans are made of; how the oceans and seas behave and why the tides and currents are the way they are. as well as exploring the weird and wonderful world of marine creatures and marine plants: the golden butterflyfish; the bottlenose dolphin; the bioluminescent squid; coral; kelp and much more. Finally we will take a look at how humans interact with our oceans and what we can do to preserve them for the future. The course blends serious science with a chance to get arty. There will be some writing, plenty of drawing, experiments, games for learning and lots of fun as we dive into the watery world of our oceans and seas. Course cost £224 (28 lessons @£8 each)
