the exciting world of 3D design, digital making and 3D printing. Using beginner-friendly CAD software and 3D printers, they will learn how engineers, designers and inventors create products, prototypes and solutions to real-world problems. Learners will design and print a variety of creative and practical projects while developing skills in design thinking, problem-solving, measurement, engineering and digital technology. Experienced learners who have attended our previous 3D design and printing workshops will have the opportunity to work on an agreed long-term project, allowing them to further develop their design, engineering and manufacturing skills while receiving mentor guidance. Throughout the programme, learners will be encouraged to experiment, innovate and bring their own ideas to life. In Term 3 (May–June 2027), they will have the opportunity to showcase their projects at our Family Tech Day and other community events, celebrating their achievements with family and friends. Important Information 3D printing is a shared resource and print times can vary significantly depending on the size and complexity of a model. As a result, it may not be possible to print every learner's design during the same session. The course is designed to be taken from the beginning of a block, as each session builds on previous learning. Learners joining mid-block may need to complete additional work at home to catch up. Regular attendance is recommended to get the most from the programme and successfully complete projects. Don’t Forget the Sibling Discount: Enjoy a 15% discount automatically applied to each additional child when siblings are booked together in the same order. Please note: Sibling discounts will not apply if bookings are made in separate orders. FINANCIAL SUPPORT As a social enterprise, we do our best to support talented and motivated young people who may not otherwise be able to afford our course fees. To discuss available support confidentially, please email [email protected] with the subject “Financial Support”.
