Gymnastics · Level 1 Classes (Reception and Year 1) (4 - 6.9yrs)

teaches basic gymnastics skills, body control such as gross motor skills, co-ordination and balance, developing their confidence. Skills in this class are progressions from those taught in the Kangaroos and multiple techniques and body movements are combined to form new, more complicated skills that require more balance, strength, flexibility and co-ordination. Although a hands-on approach will still be taken in order for the individual to progress to more advanced skills, children will now also be encouraged to perform basic skills independently. Children in this class will require Welsh Gymnastics Membership before attending their third session which can be done by following the link below: https://www.welshgymnastics.org/membership-information/ ↗ (opens a new tab) For a full list of the benefits of the Welsh Gymnastics membership please see: https://www.welshgymnastics.org/member-benefits-and-value/ ↗ (opens a new tab)
