At a glance
Contemporary uses a lot of ballet technique but is more fluid and offers more option for self expression at beginner levels (so if you do ballet, then you'll love contemporary!) This class is a fun dance workout for kids in years 7-9 at school, which will really build strength, flexibility and musicality. (Those who already have some years of dance experience, aged 13-14, may be ready for the Senior class - but do try out in this class first.)
