Our Coaches aim to provide sessions that are enjoyable and with a focus on teaching the fundamental skills needed to play basketball. We will work on ball handling, shooting, passing, rebounding (jumping), running and defence. All skills which are required to play this great team sport. to improve your existing skills. Players may be grouped by skill rather than age. Those showing improvement, potential and the appropriate skill set may be invited to join one of our Development Teams. Please come to the sessions wearing comfortable clothing, trainers, bring plenty of water and a basketball if you have one. Parents – please ensure you bring your child to the Sports Hall and register with the coaches before leaving, although feel welcome to stay if you would prefer.

About Plymouth Patriots Basketball
Welcome to the Plymouth Patriots Junior Basketball League! All our sessions are run with the aim of promoting enjoyment through exercise whilst having fun with a basketball. Through the Plymouth Junior Basketball league, we hope to provide opportunities for children across Plymouth and introduce them to the competitive game. The main aim of these classes is to make friends, have fun and learn the game of basketball.
