The Mountbatten Community Wind Band is aimed at woodwind, brass and percussion players who have achieved approximately Grade 3 standard or above on their instrument. It is directed by Rachael Armstrong, Head of School Music at Mountbatten, and co-director of the Mountbatten Wind Band. The Community Wind Band aims to cater for the needs of adult musicians from across the region, as well as former Mountbatten musicians who would like to further develop their playing in a concert band environment.
