Our Pre-school classes (age 2-4), provide children with a fun introduction to letters and sounds through the use of our cheeky little mascot Robot Reg. Through play and carefully planned activities, Robot Reg uses his ‘robot voice’ to sound out simple CVC words (consonant, vowel, consonant words, e.g r-u-n, run!). Many activities are tailored to include the development of fine and gross motors skills, helping to get little fingers ready for zipping up coats, snipping, threading, mark making and eventually handwriting.

About Phonics with Robot Reg NW Leeds and Baildon
Hello 👋, Thank you so much for visiting my page! I can’t wait to welcome you and your little one to our fab, fun classes! My name is Amanda, qualified primary school teacher (of 10 years), mummy, wife, crochet and dog lover! Our classes are all about fun. We explore singing, dancing, music and movement, all whilst introducing children, and their grown ups, to the magical world of literacy, books, phonics and learning. It’s such a joy to be able to give little ones the tools they need to be confident and comfortable with their letters and sounds when they start nursery and reception. I absolutely love it, and I hope you do too!
