just a bit of fun at first. When more mums wanted to come along I gradually started bringing music and puppets and props. I named one of the puppets, Bob. I can't even remember why! But he became the mascot. Before I knew it, Bob Tales was born, and I had my own small business. That was ten years ago. I now have two primary school age children and I feel as passionate as I did back then, about bringing mums (and dads, grandparents, childminders) together. My background is in drama and I've worked as an early years practitioner. Ultimately my passion and what is at the heart of Bob Tales is community, stories and inspiring children to use their imagination.
