Rising Stars - Stage 3 (Age 11-16) (11 - 16yrs)

From performing in full-scale theatrical productions to creating original work for camera, students experience the process of taking an idea from rehearsal room to stage or screen. Our screen training gives students experience of acting for camera, filmmaking and working with professional equipment, encouraging them to create original characters, develop naturalistic screen performances and understand how performance changes between stage and camera. Alongside developing strong performance technique, Rising Stars is about much more than producing performers. Students learn to communicate confidently, collaborate, take creative risks, trust their ideas and develop their own individual voice. Every student is different. We support those who may initially be quieter or less confident while continuing to challenge students with greater experience, ensuring each young person has space to grow. For students interested in pursuing professional opportunities, selected young performers may also be considered for representation through our children’s talent agency, with opportunities across television, film, theatre and commercials.
