The class to join if your child is in Year 1 or 2. Following on from Music Explorers, in this class, we love those 'lightbulb' moments when we figure out how music works. through singing, movement and a host of games. Along the way, they develop: Confidence using their voices Listening skills-tuneful singing with age-appropriate technique Sense of beat and rhythm Early instrumental and ensemble skills Musicianship – hands-on understanding of music

theory Rhythm and pitch notation Sight reading Writing music from dictation Improvising and composing Our Music Passport helps them track their progress. Each new discovery earns a badge to remind them of the skills they've learnt and the songs or rhymes they used to unlock them - a great way to share their achievements with family, friends and teachers. As they progress to KS2 and beyond, our classes work perfectly alongside instrumental lessons. The true magic lies in the joy of making music together!
