Dancing, singing, play-acting, dressing up also make for an interesting day! At Christmas, the nursery puts on an enchanting nativity for parents and grandparents. Drama in the Pre-Prep is not confined to specialist lessons, but rather a part of daily life. Drama helps fuel the imagination and encourages children to discover who they are and how to express themselves. To encompass drama in our lessons and topics, we dress up and we put on assemblies to parents. We also prepare and perform shows, where children learn songs, choreographed dances and confidently communicate their lines. It’s all about building self-esteem, imagination, presentation, coordination: a host of skills that are helpful in life. Visitors, parent and grandparents often comment on the confidence of our children. Pre-Prep children also put on an incredible nativity production for parents and grandparents.
