At a glance
Freestyle disco class focuses on energetic, individual dancing to upbeat music, often combining disco-inspired movement with modern freestyle technique. Unlike a fully choreographed class, dancers are encouraged to develop their own style while learning useful steps, turns, kicks, jumps, arm movements, and performance skills. Classes usually include a warm-up, technique and fitness work, short movement combinations, musicality, and freestyle practice.
