Students explore a variety of contemporary dance techniques, improvisation and contact improvisation, shared supports, choreography, and creative dance in this class, dancing to a variety of music styles, and really get to move their whole body and dance full out! This class is great both for beginners and those with previous dance experience, and provides an accessible option for all bodies

and abilities to dance and enjoy exploring movement. The creative and improvisational elements in this class are strong, encouraging each student to develop their own individual movement style and vocabulary, expressing their personality, and really taking ownership of their movements. This is great for building confidence and self-esteem, and provides an outlet for expressing feelings where students can bring their emotions of the day and dance them out, which is so important. Students work together in a safe, supportive environment where everyone is nurtured at a pace right for them, fostering the forming of strong peer group friendships.
