At a glance
This is a fun, energetic street dance class for children in Year 1 & Year 2 at Primary School. The aim of the class is to build confidence, form friendships and learn some cool dance moves! We dance to a range of up-beat chart music, old skool anthems and Disney classics. Children are encouraged to develop their own choreography skills and to interpret the music in their own unique way. The Y1 & Y2 Commercial class takes part in our Christmas & Summer showcases, where we perform to friends and family at a local theatre. We also hold annual “Parent Watching Weeks” where we invite parents to come and see their children in class. The uniform can be purchased from www.hai.mydancestore.co.uk You will need: Girls - Cerise Leotard - Cerise Skirt Boys - Black shorts - Black T-shirt *For TRIAL pupils - please wear black shorts or leggings and a T-shirt. Children will also need to bring a drink.

About Hailey Black School of Dance
The Hailey Black School of Dance is a fun, welcoming, confidence building dance school based in Wakefield which offers dance tuition for children from 18 months-18 years. We follow the International Dance Teachers Association syllabus (IDTA) and offer lots of performance opportunities throughout the year. Students are encouraged to develop their natural ability, talents and creativity in a safe and friendly environment.
