ALN Dance Class (4 - 14yrs)

15 minutes at the beginning and the end of each session for children to transition into and out of the session at their own pace, and to enjoy some child-led free movement time with access to a range of props and equipment, as well as 30 minutes of group dance during the middle section of class, exploring dance moves, styles, skills, routines, movement games, and creative activities. The focus is on enjoyment, encouragement, and self-expression, and meeting each child where they are at. Parents/Carers are required to stay during the session. They are welcome to join in with their child, to support them as needed, or to wait in the adjacent lounge area to be on hand in case they are needed. The class is aimed at ages 4 - 14.
