This Y6+ Musical Theatre class combines Jazz dancing with songs from popular musicals. We choreography routines to popular songs from theatre productions, films, musicals and TV programmes. During the class we develop confidence through performance skills, acting out scenarios, character development and singing. The Y6+ Musical Theatre class takes part in our Christmas & Summer showcases, where we perform to friends and family at a local theatre.

The uniform for this class is: Black Dancewear. Students will also need skin tone jazz shoes for performances. These can be purchased from www.hai.mydancestore.co.uk. *For TRIAL pupils - please wear black shorts or leggings and a T-shirt. Children will also need to bring a drink.

About Hailey Black School of Dance
The Hailey Black School of Dance is a fun, welcoming, confidence building dance school based in Wakefield which offers dance tuition for children from 18 months-18 years. We follow the International Dance Teachers Association syllabus (IDTA) and offer lots of performance opportunities throughout the year. Students are encouraged to develop their natural ability, talents and creativity in a safe and friendly environment.
