Level 3, students will focus on perfecting advanced acro skills such as back handsprings, walkovers, front handsprings, aerials, and advanced balancing poses. These movements require strong core strength, flexibility, and coordination, all of which will be further developed through carefully structured exercises. Dancers will also work on improving their balance, alignment, and timing to execute each acro trick with precision and control. This class continues to integrate acrobatics seamlessly with dance, allowing students to work on incorporating advanced acro elements into flowing dance sequences. Students will explore complex choreography that blends dynamic acro moves with various dance styles, including contemporary, jazz, and lyrical dance. This fusion of acrobatics and dance helps to develop fluidity in movement, giving students the ability to seamlessly transition from one trick to another while maintaining musicality and performance quality. Key aspects of Acro-Dance Level 3 include: Advanced acro skills like back handsprings, walkovers, aerials, and backflips. Working on increasing flexibility and strength, focusing on advanced stretches and strength-building exercises. Developing dance routines that combine acrobatic movements with choreography, improving overall performance and expression. Emphasizing stage presence, including how to execute tricks with confidence and energy. Improving musicality and timing, learning to perform acro tricks in sync with music. Progression: As students refine their skills and master advanced acro techniques, they will be prepared for Acro-Dance Level 4, where even more complex acro tricks, longer routines, and greater performance opportunities will be introduced. This class also serves as preparation for students who want to pursue acro-dance at a professional level, participate in competitive dance, or perform in showcases and events. If your child has not attended an Acro-Dance class with us before, they will be assessed during their trial class to determine the appropriate level based on their current skills. Progression to the next level will be at the teacher’s discretion, ensuring that each student moves forward when they are fully prepared. Our expert acro-dance instructors provide personalized coaching to ensure that each dancer is progressing safely, improving their technique, and building confidence in their acrobatic abilities. Acro-Dance Level 3 is perfect for dancers who are ready to refine their skills, take on more advanced tricks, and bring their acro-dance routines to the next level.
