Toddler And Preschool Class (2 - 5yrs)

a movement or skill, we bring each activity to life — children might be jumping across a “river”, travelling through space, moving like different animals or completing an imaginative adventure while developing balance, coordination, throwing, catching, kicking, running and other fundamental movement skills. Our sessions are inclusive, energetic and carefully adapted to suit different confidence and ability levels, helping children develop not only physically but also socially through listening, sharing, teamwork and communication. To keep sessions fresh and give children a broad range of experiences, we change the main sport or physical activity focus approximately every six weeks. Across the year, children may experience activities inspired by football, cricket, athletics, basketball, tennis and other multi-sport games, with each block adapted appropriately for the Early Years age group. Above all, our aim is to create positive early experiences of sport and physical activity, helping every child build confidence, enjoy being active and look forward to their next YSD session.
