Junior Jazz Dance & Technique — Ages 8–11

Two hours of jazz training a week for children aged 8 to 11, in East Village, Stratford. The first hour is jazz: choreography, performance, and the routines they'll take to the show. The second is technique and conditioning — strength, flexibility, alignment, turns and jumps broken down properly, and the physical foundation that prevents injury as the work gets harder. That second hour is the difference between a child who can copy a routine and one who can actually dance. Most schools charge extra for it or don't offer it at all. Beginners are welcome — the technique hour is where they catch up fastest.
