The Kumon Norwich Study Centre was established in 1999 and has a strong history of developing students of all ages and abilities into independent, advanced learners through the Kumon Method of Learning.
Our youngest student joined us at just three years old, while our most advanced student began independently learning calculus at the age of 13. Kumon Gorleston and Kumon Wymondham are our sister centres, launched in February 2025 and September 2026

Our Instructors – Sam, Sara and Jamie – are experienced and dedicated educators. Unlike traditional tuition providers, we do not simply ‘teach’; we nurture students to become independent, confident and empowered learners who are comfortable tackling unfamiliar work.
Through consistent daily practice, our students take ownership of their learning, progressing one small step at a time. They develop not only knowledge and academic ability, but also perseverance, confidence and resilience.
Johan, a Kumon Norwich student for eight years, describes his experience:
“Kumon taught me that you can achieve anything with hard work and consistency. That by just showing up and trying, you’re already halfway there. With enough perseverance, there is no dream too big, and no dream too small.”

Students complete daily worksheets and attend the Study Centre once a week. Because Kumon work is set according to ability rather than age, your child can revisit topics they find challenging or progress far beyond school material – without restriction.
