Come along to our Balance Buddies Club where children age 18 months to 7 years (beginners or advanced) can learn how to balance on 2 wheels as well as brake, steer and other skills as well as to prepare for our balance bike races. We don't just put out cones, we have different equipment each week for our obstacle course, a track with ramps, limbo poles, traffic lights, boardwalks, sea saws and much more. sessions include lots of games and activities where the riders can learn skills, have fun and make new friends, all in the warm and dry of local sports halls. This is the perfect step to start at before progressing on to our learn to ride sessions! Riders are required to attend sessions wearing suitable clothing such as long trousers, long sleeves, gloves and trainers. No open toe shoes, wellies or skirts are allowed to be worn during sessions. Riders must wear a helmet complying to EN1078 (this will be printed inside the helmet) at all times. No helmet - No cycling. Bikes used within our sessions must be safe to use with no missing parts. A lot of thought has gone into the planning of our sessions to ensure that it is not only helping riders progress with their cycling but also with other skills such as confidence, co-ordination and making friends.
