Children attending this class from 4 years should be socially confident, started to develop good listening skills and able to attend without parental participation. One parent is able to spectate from the sidelines. Sessions are on the format of a traditional football skills session however the session will still involve use of non traditional ball types and sizes to enhance co-ordination and decision making and problem solving abilities. will be set up to encourage loads of touches of the ball for every child in the class as practise makes a skill permanent. Classes will be structured and fun and repetition of skillls an important part of classes but loads of different activities will be used to encourage use of all parts of both feet for control, passing, dribbling and shooting. Ball Mastery and moves to beat players also introduced. Again all small sided games and skills work will use a mix of relevant sized Futsal or football for this age group and will be used to encourage development of skill and creative thought. Soccerstarts Football Academy sessions will use a mix of various coaching methods gained via coach education, experience and coaching research. Sessions designed by head coach Bryan Robertson.

Soccerstarts believe in providing quality kids football coaching in Edinburgh and surrounding areas. We work with children from Confident walkers (toddlers) to 8.5 year olds with various age groups. We also provide birthday parties and small group coaching.
