Home educated children get regular time with others who share the same interest, making friends over a shared hobby in a relaxed setting rather than a classroom. All equipment is provided, so there is nothing to bring. Every member of our team holds an enhanced DBS check and is first aid trained.

About Thunderbolt Cards
Thunderbolt Cards is an independent trading card game shop on Coombe Road in New Malden. We stock cards, accessories and sealed product, and we run regular sessions and events for players of all ages in store. We are a family run business [adjust if not] and we know that a card shop should be more than a place to buy cards. doing it. That is what we have built. Alongside our shop and events, we have a particular focus on supporting home educating families. Our daytime sessions give home educated children somewhere reliable to go each week, with structured teaching, real social time with others their age, and the sort of skills that come naturally through play: mental maths, reading, planning ahead and good sportsmanship. Home education can be isolating for children and for parents, and we want the shop to be part of the answer to that. Every member of our team holds an enhanced DBS check and is first aid trained.
