Adult Improver – For Players Not Yet Confident Maintaining Consistent Baseline Rallies in Singles & Doubles (18 - 100yrs)

At this level, players will generally: • Have some experience rallying from the back of the court • Be able to maintain short rallies when the incoming ball is slow and predictable • Have some experience with volleys and serving • Still be developing confidence using these shots during point play • Be working towards handling balls with more pace, spin and movement • Be developing their ability to direct the ball and generate spin Players are not yet expected to consistently maintain rallies when the incoming ball has greater speed or spin, or when they need to move more around the court. Sessions will focus on developing rock-solid technical fundamentals, using a combination of coach-fed exercises, ball-feeding drills and progressive rally-based activities. The aim is to build consistency, confidence and the foundations needed to progress towards more advanced play. 🚫 Please note: These sessions are NOT suitable for complete beginners. Players should have some previous tennis experience before joining. Please note: A minimum of 4 players is required for these sessions to run. To support player development, regularity and continuity are crucial, so sessions are offered in blocks running over several weeks. Booking Information: Our booking system was originally designed with children in mind, so you may come across some terminology and instructions that are not specifically designed for adults. When booking an adult class, please follow these steps: 1. Register an account. 2. The system will then ask you to add a "child" – you can enter your own details here, as this will be your player profile. 3. You will be asked to add two emergency contacts. One of these can be yourself. 4. Once your account is registered, you can proceed to book your chosen class. Thank you for your patience and understanding while using the booking system. Cancellation & Weather Policy: In the event of adverse weather or facility issues, we will cancel a session no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled start time and notify all players by email.
