As soon as your little one starts walking (around 16 months) they are moved to ROCKIN' ROCKETS/LITTLE MUSIC STARS where the children learn how to move their bodies independently from their parents, learn shapes and objects from flashcards, experiment with phonic sounds and try out even beat rhythms with wooden claves. We also use puppets, scarves, parachutes, instruments, bubbles, colourful pictures a myriad of props which will encourage confidence

and listening skills. We will introduce the children to themed sessions learning about the world around them through carefully constructed music, encouraging creativity and imagination. These include: The Jolly Jungle, The Weather Dial, Stars in Space, Rainbow Magic, Fun at the Farm & At the Beach. N.B This class is only suitable for children who are very confident walkers. Please still sign them up to the baby class if they have only just started walking! We will move them up mid term when they are super strong on their feet! l

Hi, I’m Katy - owner of Little Music Stars here in Northumberland and North Newcastle. Before becoming a Mummy in 2021 I was a professional vocalist for over twenty years. I have worked the length and breadth of the UK performing. I have worked overseas in Dubai and Spain and, from 2006-2016, I worked on Cruise ships and sailed all over the world! I absolutely love music, singing and having a really good time. I guarantee you and your little one will have a brilliant time singing, dancing and learning with me at Little Music Stars.
