Gymnastics Class 4-5 years (4 - 5yrs)

ones develop the fundamental skills they need to become confident Flyers athletes. During each session, gymnasts will work on skills such as jumping, rolling, beginner handstands and cartwheels, while exploring a variety of gymnastics equipment. Alongside learning gymnastics skills, we focus on developing strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and body awareness, while also building confidence, independence, listening and learning skills. Please note: This is a child-only class. Parents and guardians are not permitted to stay in the gym but are welcome to wait in the sports centre reception area for the duration of the class. As your child progresses through the Mini Gymnastics programme and is aged 5 and ready to move on, they can move up into one of our main club sessions, with opportunities to specialise in gymnastics, trampolining or cheerleading. Our aim is to give every young athlete the skills, confidence and foundations they need to safely enjoy gymnastics and continue progressing with Flyers.
