The violin is a very popular instrument for children to learn. Its expressive tone suits a variety of musical styles and it is relatively inexpensive to start playing. We offer small group lessons which offer a fun, sociable and low-cost way to learn the violin. from a musical stave, children are also taught aural skills, simple improvisation and ensemble and performance skills. For pupils who wish to do so, there is the option to sit exams through ABRSM.
