Intermediate Acro Dance Classes — Ages 9–16

Two hours of acro dance a week for children aged 9 to 16, at Chobham Academy in East Village, Stratford. Walkovers, limbers, handsprings and aerial work, built skill by skill with proper matting and proper spotting. Nobody moves up before the prerequisites are there — that's how acro stays safe. The second hour is strength and conditioning: core, shoulders, wrists, hip flexibility and the controlled landing. It's the least glamorous hour of the week and it's the reason our dancers get their skills and keep their bodies intact. For dancers who've completed Acro Beginners or have equivalent experience.
