What is a school council? At Sketchley Hill Primary, the School Council is a lively and responsible group of pupils chosen by their classmates to represent the voices of children across the school. Councillors meet regularly to share ideas, discuss improvements, and help plan events that make school life even better. They work closely with staff to gather feedback, suggest new initiatives, and support projects that benefit both learning and wellbeing. Through their role, pupils develop confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills, while ensuring everyone at Sketchley Hill feels listened to and included.
