Whether you are interested in dance as a profession or just for fun, JHS offers a high standard of teaching in a safe, caring environment where we aim to build confidence, develop skills and talents and help our students realise their full potential.
Students study the syllabi of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) in Ballet, Modern, Tap, National and Contemporary. Whilst not compulsory, we encourage children to work towards examinations

as a marker of progress and to celebrate their achievements. Pupils are also given the chance to perform in school shows and concerts, with opportunities for competition and festival work for those demonstrating special talent.
