Media from the show and photos are also taken and can be shared on social media and for publication in local media newspapers etc. *All show fees are non refundable REHEARSAL Rehearsal day Sunday 10th January at Brookfield School in gymnasium - in costumes and hair. Rehearsal schedule - all performers must attend Show 1 performers : 10- 11:45 am Show 2 performers : 12:15- 1:30pm (if you’re in both shows, you will be required to be there for the whole day – bring a packed lunch!!) CHAPERONES Every class needs two parent helpers to chaperone - ideally with a a DBS (we can support a DBS for at a cost of £15 for 3 years) If you can assist please email [email protected] Summary of Information & Reminders: – Arrive wearing your own black leggings and DCA T shirt, bring all your costumes with you labelled. – Arrive with hair in 2 plaits, unless your class teacher has specifically asked you for a different style. – Remember to pack dancing shoes and all costumes, – Makeup is optional/ – Name EVERYTHING (T-shirt/leggings/dancing shoes). – The DCA Team will meet you in the Theatre Foyer and direct you to changing areas to sign in and out at the end of the show. -One parent will be given a wristband on arrival to walk their child to the dressing rooms to sign them in and collect. No wristband no entry. - A named water bottle may be brought - if snacks are brought NO NUTS and only non messy items - No eating in costumes so bring a onesie or zip hoodie to cover up your costumes and keep clean. Showtime Tips: – Encourage your performer to use the toilet before meeting their class friends backstage for costume changes. – We will have 2 parent helpers per class to assist your child's class who are - wearing lanyards. Please speak to them if you need any assistance. If you are not staying to help once signed in your child please vacate the area and come back for the show! – Any parents who stay to help for dress rehearsal must also stay for showtime. After the show: -We will dismiss performers to their parents from the same place you drop them off. Parent show your wristband to get access to collect your child. The show is appropriately 1 hr in length. Tickets are on sale via THORNDEN HALL directly and not handled by DCA.
