About First Class Learning South Shields
Welcome to the South Shields First Class Learning Centres. Emma Orton, Centre Manager, has been running the highly successful Ofsted registered tuition centres for over 10 years. Students of all ages are supported with maths, English and science tuition. Emma individualises each student’s learning programme to target any gaps in understanding and to further develop knowledge and skills. as well as build confidence and independence. A varied approach is offered which includes 1:1 support and independent learning provision. Our maths, English and science programmes are flexible and tailored to learners’ individual needs and abilities so students move on only when they are confident with a topic. Ongoing assessments are carried out to measure progress and enable Emma to adapt learning programmes accordingly. The ‘little and often’ approach is recommended and 10-15 minutes per day homework is provided to encourage repetition and practice.
